Ranger tour in the Aachen Forest

The City of Aachen is now offering guided forest tours led by rangers.

When: Every second Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m
.Meeting point: Main entrance to the Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Str.)

During these tours, you’ll learn general facts about the forest and its inhabitants; specifically, you’ll also gain insights into the history of the Aachen Forest and the challenges of managing a forest near the city that serves as a source of timber, a nature reserve, and a recreational area.

The tours last about 1.5 hours and are also designed for families with children. The trails are easy to walk on and are also suitable for all-terrain strollers.
