Presentation: "The Adventure of Finding an Apartment" and Discussion on Housing for Seniors

It’s not easy for older adults to find a new apartment. Or is their current apartment actually suitable for living in as they age? The presentation by the “Älter werden in Aachen” resource center provides an overview of the local housing market and ways to prepare effectively for the apartment search. What documents can I bring to a viewing to make a good impression? How can a housing eligibility certificate help me, and how does the Schufa credit report work? How can my apartment be adapted to meet the needs of older adults?

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for discussion.
