Aachen Christmas Market

The Aachen Christmas Market will open its doors for the 53rd time on November 20, 2026.

A magical atmosphere: Over 120 vendors, artisans, artists, and restaurateurs offer an experience for all the senses: the festive glow of Christmas decorations, the scents of mulled wine, candles, and Printen cookies, festive music, and handcrafted goods from traditional workshops.

To ensure that all visitors can easily reach the city center and enjoy the Christmas market without stress, the Park-and-Ride ticket (P&R ticket) offers a hassle-free way to get there and back. Over 1,700 P&R parking spaces are available in Aachen: Westfriedhof (Vaalser Straße), Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Straße), Hangeweiher (Hermann-Löns-Allee), Tivoli Parking Garage (Krefelder Straße; closed on Alemannia home game days) and the Jülicher Straße/Berliner Ring parking lot. The concept is simple: park your car at one of the P&R lots and take the bus with up to five people to the city center or the Christmas market and back—for just five euros. P&R tickets can be purchased from the bus drivers. At the Tivoli parking garage, the parking ticket obtained at the entrance serves as your bus pass.

• Sunday, Nov. 22 (All Souls' Day), 6:00–9:00 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 12 (extended Christmas market), 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 23 (last day), 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
