! A dancer and a clown meet. Curious, they explore each other’s worlds, drawing closer and then drifting apart again—Duo Pa[ya!]so doblo. How does their interaction unfold amid all their differences? With live music, theater, dance, and clowning, the piece playfully navigates a carousel of emotions—fear, joy, sadness, and love—that arise from the simple yet complex act of encounter. The audience is invited to participate in the action through rhythm and song. “Renkonto” means “encounter” in Esperanto, a language created to connect people across borders. Marcela López Morales (ARG) is a dancer and choreographer; Gudrun Kissler (D) is a clown and musician. They began their artistic collaboration as the duo Pa[ya!]so doblo 2025 in Aachen. No spoken language!
