Sir Duke Trio

The three Aachen-based musicians of Sir Duke move effortlessly between the Baroque and the modern era, from Vivaldi to Stevie Wonder, from klezmer to jazz, offering diverse musical entertainment of the highest caliber.

Johannes Flamm on clarinet and saxophones (Bob Mintzer, Aachen Big Band) and guitarist Csaba Szèkely (Aachen Big Band, Sparkassen Big Band) are united by their classical background combined with strong influences from jazz and pop. Johannes Vos (Echoes of Nawlins, Jimmy Kelly) bridges the gap on the acoustic bass guitar, connecting Bach and Bernstein.
