The power, myth and cultural significance of the horse are the focus of the exhibition at the SLM. Visitors can expect a journey from antiquity to the present day through art history with works by Albrecht Dürer, Esaias van de Velde the Elder, Philips Wouwerman, Peter Paul Rubens, Lovis Corinth and Francisco de Goya, complemented by sculptures by Franz von Stuck, Ewald Mataré and contemporary works by Marcel Walldorf.
