Exhibition "Famous women in graphic novels"

In recent years, numerous compelling graphic novels about famous women have been published. Historian Irene Franken of the Cologne Women’s History Association has selected twelve of these comic biographies and, together with graphic designer Britta L.QL, has developed an extraordinary roll-up exhibition.

The exhibition at vhs Aachen offers fascinating insights into modern women’s history and, at the same time, showcases the creative power of the often-underestimated graphic novel genre.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge during vhs Aachen’s regular hours in the foyer on the second floor.
