City walk on downtown mobility: Planners provide insights into the new downtown mobility plan.

The City of Aachen’s Department of Mobility and Transportation is offering several events as part of this year’s adult education center (VHS) program. On this walk, you’ll learn more about mobility in Aachen.

Join us on a walking tour of discovery through the city center: A staff member from the Mobility and Transportation Department will explain the background behind measures designed to make Aachen’s mobility system sustainable and balanced. The tour will take you to the Annuntiatenbach, Lindenplatz, Jakobstraße, and Karlsgraben, among other places. Measures have been implemented here that have sparked much discussion in Aachen. What challenges exist? How can the city center be made easily accessible for all modes of transportation, and how are the needs of different groups taken into account? These and other questions will be answered during the tour.
