Street oratorio "Place Publique"
Who owns the city and who interprets its narratives and how?
What do cobblestones, underground lichens and streams have to say? What is negotiated in public space - in the past and today? Theater Aachen enters the urban space - with a musical-theatrical street happening in the most popular squares. A choir of 60 citizens tells of absurd events and hidden stories of the "Öcher" in specially created songs by composer Sebastian Schwab. Director, author and performer Schorsch Kamerun, singer of the Hamburg punk band "Die Goldenen Zitronen", stages and performs a challenging spectacle in the heart of the city. As a gift for all Aacheners on the occasion of the theater's anniversary - free and outside.
