The municipal cemeteries in Aachen are home to numerous gravesites of great cultural-historical and artistic value. With precious sculptures, impressive and finely crafted gravestones, these old graves have a significant influence on the historic cemetery grounds and contribute to the special atmosphere.
Many of these grounds are no longer owned by the family. The stories they tell are part of our cemetery culture, which we want to preserve. Help us to preserve these historic and aesthetically beautiful gravestones. If you decide to become a sponsor, you will take over one of these valuable gravestones and can use the grave for burials. By taking on a sponsorship, you are preserving a piece of our cultural heritage. At the same time, the family history of those buried there will live on as a contemporary witness. You can choose from gravestones and burial plots of various sizes up to an impressive mausoleum. Our staff will be happy to advise you.
