You can apply for the following waste garbage cans from Aachener Stadtbetrieb:

• Residual waste disposal - container size:
  60 liters - 90 liters - 120 liters - 240 liters - 770 liters - 1,100 liters
• Organic waste disposal - container size:
  60 liters - 90 liters - 120 liters - 240 liters
• Paper waste disposal - container size:
  120 liters - 240 liters - 770 liters - 1,100 liters

The following emptying intervals are possible for residual waste containers:

• 60-liter container:
  four-weekly
• 90-liter container:
  14-daily, four-weekly
• 120-liter container:
  weekly*, fortnightly, four-weekly
• 240-liter container:
  fortnightly, four-weekly
• 770-liter container:
  weekly*, fortnightly, four-weekly
• 1,100-liter container:
  weekly*, fortnightly, four-weekly

* The emptying of 120 liter, 770 liter and 1,100 liter containers can be carried out weekly upon written request in defined exceptional cases, for example in the case of cellar locations, 4-wheel containers (770 and 1,100 liters) and special framework/space conditions by way of a case-by-case assessment.

The organic waste garbage cans are only emptied every 14 days.
The bins for paper waste disposal are always emptied every four weeks.

Full service

If you have booked the full service, this also applies to the organic and paper waste containers as well as the yellow bags.
The annual costs are calculated for each residual waste container. The fee depends on the emptying interval and container size.

Partial service

All waste containers for which there is no full service must be made available for emptying by the user by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Once the bins have been emptied, they must be returned to the property as soon as possible.

Aachener Stadtbetrieb offers a full service under certain conditions. Your waste garbage cans are collected by our staff from the collection point on the day of collection and returned there after emptying.
In the Aachen-Mitte district, this service is offered for residual waste garbage cans with a volume of 90, 120, 240, 770 and 1,100 liters. In the other districts, this option is only available for residual waste containers with a volume of 770 and 1,100 liters.
