Please take these to the collection points.Note:
The free disposal of hazardous waste at the AWA amounts to 15 liters/month per household. However, it is not the content that is decisive, but the volume of the container.Batteries are accepted in normal household quantities.

Special collection
Dispose of CDs, DVDs
CDs and DVDs can be recycled and handed in at the collection points listed below. CDs and DVDs consist of the plastic polycarbonate (PC), a metallic coating and a lacquer. The coating can be removed relatively easily from the base plate. The remaining material is a high-quality raw material that can be recycled very easily. The material can be used to produce new items in the automotive, computer and medical technology industries, for example.
Sleeves do not belong in the collection container.
It is important to note that only CDs/DVDs can be recycled in this way. The sturdy plastic sleeves are made of a different material and cannot be recycled. They should therefore not be thrown into the collection containers. The sleeves belong in the residual waste.Data protection: Make CD / DVD unusable if necessary
If you do not want unauthorized persons to be able to read your data after handing it in, you must make your CDs/DVDs unusable before handing them in by scratching across the scannable/readable top side with a nail or similar.Cork collection points
