The square becomes colorful! - Colorful design of the district center

The public space around the Forster Linde and St. Katharina was given a colorful design. Together with people from the neighborhood, we are creating a visible sign of participation, community and identification.

At the creative workshop held as part of the street festival on September 26, 2025, many creative ideas were collected on how the area around St. Catherine's Church could look in the future.

The artist and designer Patricia Yasmine Graf translated the ideas collected into a true-to-scale, artistic concept that served as a template for the design. The design was realized together with the visitors, resulting in a lively, colourful floor design.
