11/2019: Safety audit of roads (SAS)

Between March and November 2019, two employees from Department 68 - Mobility and Transport (formerly FB61) were trained as "Road Safety Auditors (SAS)" at the University of Wuppertal.

By participating in urban traffic planning processes, they will incorporate the concerns of all road users into the planning process as early as possible and proactively contribute to increasing both subjective and objective road safety by adopting the perspective of the various road users.

They also contribute their perspective and expertise to the accident commission in a reactive manner.
