On secret routes through Aachen

To get from A to B in Aachen, cyclists do not need to use the main roads. There are many routes that can be taken away from the busy roads.

"On slow routes through Aachen" is part of the city of Aachen's"FahrRad in Aachen" campaign, which encourages cyclists to cycle through the city away from the main roads. Quiet routes away from car traffic were presented, making it possible to explore Aachen by bike in a relaxed yet interesting way. This is particularly important for insecure cyclists who are not (yet) confident enough to cycle in Aachen.

The tours were part of the European Mobility Week, which takes place annually from September 16 to 22.
