At the Klangfest, you’ll have the chance to try exactly that. The Aachen Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform Johannes Brahms’s Hungarian Dance No. 6 in D major—and is looking for people who’d like to take the baton themselves.
No prior experience is required. The focus is on curiosity, experimentation, and the joy of making music together.
If you'd like to participate, please register in advance. We'd be happy to send you the sheet music and an audio sample so you can prepare. Since we can only accept a limited number of conductors, it's a good idea to register early.
