The music school's offer is aimed at all age groups, from the very youngest to interested adults. Young and old beginners as well as budding professionals are accompanied in their musical development - in the main building on Blücherplatz, in daycare centers, primary and secondary schools.

It is possible to register at the music school via the service portal of the City of Aachen. As soon as you have created a service account, you can register for music lessons online. By registering, you express your interest in music lessons and will be included in the list for allocation. The contractual obligation only begins with the start of the lessons.
It is not possible to register online for workshop-type offers (taster sessions etc.). Conventional written registration is still possible. Forms can be printed out, filled in and then returned to the secretary's office, emailed or faxed.

In addition, there are no lessons on public vacations outside these vacation periods.
Classes at Blücherplatz will take place as scheduled. Lessons will take place in the external locations if the general education schools concerned make their premises available to us. The teachers will discuss this with the respective janitors.
As a public music school, it is a central concern of ours to give everyone access to music. Diversity enriches our musical life - which is why we actively promote inclusion in our lessons, projects and events.

More than 80 teachers teach their skills in the main building at Blücherplatz in Aachen Nord, but also at many daycare centers and schools throughout the city.
Early music activities for the very youngest children from 18 months.
The instrument foxes and wolves offer a first insight into the world of instruments.
A variety of wind, string, keyboard and plucked instruments can be learned at the music school.
Interested singers aged 12 and over can find lessons in classical, jazz and pop music here.

Preparation for entrance exams to music colleges
Educators and teachers from all types of schools can find cooperation offers for the respective institutions here.
Our "MusiKita" program is aimed at all daycare children and children from the surrounding area and gives them access to music education.

We also offer class lessons in secondary schools. Here you can choose between the wind class and the string class model.
Since 2011, the music school of the city of Aachen has been offering various music courses as part of the educational allowance of the city region of Aachen. The costs are borne by the city region.
