01.11.2024: For applications submitted from 01.01.2025, application processing will be paused until the 2025 municipal budget is released - but applications can still be submitted.

The approval of applications received in the funding program for energy-saving measures in buildings will stop for the time being on 31.12.2024. All applications that are received in full with all required documents by this date will be processed and decided with the budget funds from 2024 as long as these are available.

It will still be possible to submit funding applications in 2025. Funding decisions for applications submitted from 01.01.2025 will be issued once the City of Aachen's budget has been approved by the Cologne district government. Approval is expected in April/May 2025 at the latest.
You will receive the "Approval for early start of measures" in the service portal promptly after submitting your application so that you can already start implementing your planned measures and comply with the guideline requirement of "submitting the application before the start of the measure". Please note: Approval for the early start of measures does not constitute a funding commitment.

As soon as the budget has been approved, the processing of applications from 2025 will begin. We will publish a corresponding notification here.
