Data protection in voluntary work
GDPR for associations
The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW) has now published the attached brochure "Data protection in associations under the General Data Protection Regulation". This new brochure now provides small associations run on a voluntary basis in particular with clear, relevant practical assistance. On 53 pages, the brochure provides compact information on which requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are relevant for associations. The appendix also contains templates for the register of processing activities, consent to the publication of photos on the internet and a basic framework for implementing the information obligations on websites.
