Starting March 31, 2024, you’ll also have the opportunity here to vote on the proposed topics. Every resident of Aachen can easily support the topic of their choice with just a click of the mouse.
As soon as a topic reaches 125 votes, it is shortlisted and discussed by the Citizens’ Council’s steering committee. The steering committee then selects at least 5 topics that are most suitable and submits them to the Citizens’ Forum. In the Citizens’ Forum, the final topic is chosen during a public session following a discussion between citizens and politicians.
