On the road by bike

There are 220 kilometers of cycle paths in Aachen. The aim of the Aachen cycling decision is to have a main cycle network in which 90% of the population live within 200 m of a main cycle route. In order to enable safe and comfortable cycling in Aachen, the city of Aachen is building a"priority cycle network". Ten priority cycle routes are planned, the first of which are now being implemented. You can see the route on the RVR map.

  • You can easily find rental bikes at Velocity Aachen and book them via an app.
  • If you would like to rent an e-scooter, please contact the following providers active in Aachen: VOI, TIER and LIME. You can unlock and use the scooters immediately in the respective apps.
