AWO fan project

Description

The Fan Project Aachen is a youth welfare organization of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Aachen-Stadt e.V. and has been in existence since 2008. It is funded by the DFB, the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the StädteRegion and the City of Aachen.

The services include, among others the open meeting place, personal advice and help, mediation in football-related conflicts, match support, U18 away trips, educational sports and leisure activities, educational and cultural events, meeting trips and preventative school projects.

The tasks of the fan project are outreach social work, open youth work, individual case support, prevention, networking and public relations work.
