From 2026, a plot of land in Aachen-Brand will be allocated exclusively for community housing projects as part of a concept award. In order to prepare interested parties for the tender for the concept award and to network projects and people with each other, the municipal coordination office for construction and community living has planned a small series of events on the most important questions relating to housing projects. If you are looking for a plot of land for communal living or a group for a shared vision, this is the right place for you.

What does a concept award mean? A concept award means that the contract is not awarded to the highest bidder, but to the person or group with the best idea.

The networking event will kick off on Wednesday, October 29, from 6 p.m. at Mefferdatisstr. 14-18, 52062 Aachen. Whether alone, in pairs or as an existing small group - everyone is cordially invited. Here you can gather ideas, find like-minded people and exchange initial contact details. Participation is free of charge and non-binding, all interested parties are welcome. There will also be two further events focusing on legal forms (November 13) and finance (December 8). Both events will start at 18:00. The location will be announced.
