The birth certificate
Every new-born child
receives a birth certificate.
This is written on the birth certificate:- The first name and the name of the child.
- The names of the parents.
- The day of birth.
- The time of birth.
- The place of birth.

- for the child's ID card
- to enroll the child in school
- for health insurance
- for the Finance Office
The marriage certificate
The wedding couple
receives a marriage certificate.
The certificate states
that you are officially married.
The marriage certificate states- the names of the spouses
- the wedding venue
- the wedding date
- the date of birth
and the place of birth

- the signature of the registrar

The civil partnership certificate
Before 2017, only men and women could marry in Germany
. However,
female couples or male couples
could marry each other.This was accompanied by the civil partnership certificate.
