Thermal bathing in Burtscheid - simply worth it

Thermal bathing has a 2000-year-old tradition in Aachen. But while there are public thermal bathing areas in many Italian cities, the thermal water in Aachen has not yet been used for bathing in public spaces.

The "Wärm Komp" initiative wants to change this and is inviting visitors to an exhibition tour that will provide insights into the current and historical use of thermal water in Burtscheid.

In addition to the results of an initial experiment (see www.waermkomp.jetzt/berichte) from autumn 2024, the current work of FH Aachen and considerations on the topic of "low-threshold bathing in natural thermal water" will be presented.
