Columbarium St. Donatus - contemporary witness to VALUABLE life stories

The foundation stone for the Church of the Redeemer in Aachen-Brand was laid 55 years ago. Up until 2015, many families celebrated important milestones in their lives here. Children were baptized and received their First Holy Communion. Marriages were celebrated and the deceased were bid farewell in funeral services.
In June 2016, the former Church of the Redeemer became a columbarium and thus a final resting place.

In the St. Donatus columbarium, not only parishioners find their final resting place in an architecturally unusual room. Surrounded by golden and earth-coloured elements, relatives of the deceased experience the room as a healing place for their precious memories.
