Conservation and energy efficiency - thinking about preservation and the future together

Conservation and energy efficiency - thinking about preservation and the future together
Listed buildings already make a significant contribution to climate protection thanks to their durable construction and high-quality materials. Preserving existing structures saves resources, conserves so-called grey energy and avoids CO₂-intensive new buildings.
At the same time, energy improvements to historic buildings are also possible - adapted to their individual characteristics. Monument preservation helps to develop suitable and sustainable solutions. The aim is to combine energy saving and conservation in a meaningful way.
The lecture shows how heritage conservation and energy efficiency can work together - not as opposites, but as a common path to a responsible, sustainable approach to our built environment.
No registration is required for the lecture.
