Aachen cycling summer "Cycle through the horse country park": opening cycle tour
This year's Aachen Cycling Summer is a good opportunity to cycle a few kilometers for Aachen in the 2026 City Cycling Challenge. This year marks the 32nd edition of the Aachen Cycling Summer. Every year, a circular route is signposted for the cycling summer right through to the autumn.
The signposted circular route, which is around 22 kilometers long, is themed around the World Equestrian Games Aachen 2026 this time. The tour starts at the riding stadium, Soerser Weg, and leads from there to the Horse Country Park between the cities of Aachen, Herzogenrath and Kerkrade. This cross-border landscape park covers an area of 2000 hectares and includes the following areas: Lousberg, Soers, Hasenwalder Feld and Horbacher Börde. A detailed route description can be found at www.fahrad-in-aachen.de
The opening tour under the motto "FahrRad durch den Pferdelandpark" will take place on Sunday, June 7, at 1.30 pm Reitstation, Soerser Weg. Anyone interested can request the flyer for this year's tour from Stephanie Küpper: fahrrad-in-aachen@mail.aachen.de
