Aachen shows commitment 2026

For the third time, the city of Aachen is inviting people to the "Aachen shows commitment" day of action on Saturday, May 30. From 12 noon to 5 p.m., Aachen's city park around the concert square will be transformed into a colorful world of volunteering. Associations, organizations and initiatives will present their work here - informatively, creatively and with numerous hands-on activities.
Visitors can expect a varied programme for all generations at "Aachen zeigt Engagement": There will be two stages with live music, dance performances and sporting demonstrations, information stands and hands-on activities as well as a competition with attractive prizes.
The day of action is not only aimed at people who are already involved, but above all at people who want to find out about volunteering opportunities. Whether young or old, sporty, creative, socially interested or simply curious - participation is expressly encouraged.
Accessibility has been taken into account in the planning to ensure that all visitors can participate without any problems.
