At the City of Aachen's training day, employees present the wide range of training opportunities offered by the administration.
At many stands, HR experts will answer questions about training and explain the wide range of training opportunities. 39 training occupations are on offer. There are dual study programs, many opportunities for further qualification or for completing internships.
From automotive mechatronics technicians and cemetery gardeners to gardeners and horticulturists and ornamental plant growers, students have numerous opportunities to find out about exciting apprenticeships at Aachen's municipal company. A perfect opportunity to get to know the different gardening professions. The various facets of the sectors are presented. Information is also provided on administrative training courses such as the dual Bachelor of laws/arts course specializing in business administration - administrative informatics, administrative assistant and training as a civil servant to become a city secretary, the dual course of study in civil engineering with training as a draughtsman or industrial/technical training courses such as a specialist for swimming pool operations, specialist for media and information services, surveying technician or practice-integrated training as an educator or childcare worker, work placement in the educational sector or as an emergency paramedic.
