Bicycle and mobility day 2025

The Aachen Bicycle Day, which has been offered since 2008, will be expanded this year to become the "Bicycle and Mobility Day" on Saturday, May 10. The city wants to present the variety of sustainable mobility options to people who are mobile in Aachen on a day of action. In addition to information stands, there will be many different offers to try out and test.

In addition to the wide range of cycling offers in Aachen, topics such as road safety, accessibility, micromobility and car sharing will also be presented.

If you would like to know what perspective children have on road traffic, you can go on a discovery tour with the deep-view tubes of the Mobility and Traffic Department and experience what children see when they are on the road.

The two short tours of the city's "FahrRad in Aachen" campaign could also be of interest to anyone who wants to get around Aachen safely and easily by bike. On two guided tours, the city center is explored away from the busy roads. For children, there will also be the "Kids on Tour" bike tour at 1 pm and 3 pm.
