Aachen Horse Chess

Horse figures as big as children, knights competing against kings, a game for young and old: these are the ingredients of an oversized chess game with horse characters, which will stand parallel to the Archimedean sandbox between the cathedral and the town hall from July 10 to August 3. Anyone who wants to can come and play or learn how to play chess - the rules can be found right next to it. And best of all: all the figures are visually inspired by the World Equestrian Games and are a great souvenir of the sporting highlight in Aachen.
