100 years CHIO Aachen
From May 16th to August 23rd, 2026, the Centre Charlemagne - Neues Stadtmuseum Aachen is presenting a photo exhibition "All about the CHIO Aachen" with spectacular, amusing and curious photos from the Aachen equestrian events of the last 100 years.
The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein Museum, takes a look back at an incomparable success story. Unique photographic documents show international sport as it can be experienced at the largest equestrian event in the world - high-class, emotional, pure aesthetics in the interaction between man and animal, including legends of success. And as historical documents, they also show how the tournaments were bound to the times in the close intertwining of politics and sport.
Tue - Sun 10.00 - 18.00
The photo exhibition is shown in the foyer of the Centre Charlemagne and is accessible free of charge.
