The Lord Mayor in dialog on site: Kennedypark

A special kind of picnic awaits all interested Aachen residents on Friday, June 6, 2025: From 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., the Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen and the Diakonie Aachen's Werkstatt der Kulturen (Workshop of Cultures) invite you to an open citizens' dialog in Kennedypark - with a picnic blanket, pavilion and plenty of space for exchange.

Everyone is cordially invited to bring their own food and drinks and join the Mayor Sibylle Keupen, the city's neighborhood management team and the Citizens' Dialogue team for a discussion. It's all about the topics that move the district: Living together, diversity, development, neighborhood and more.

"A picnic is a wonderful place for conversations without barriers - open, honest, personal. I look forward to seeing new faces, good conversations and a lively get-together," says Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen.

The event takes place outdoors, weather permitting. Seating is available, registration is not necessary. The meeting point is Kennedypark, on the corner of Düppelstr./ Elsaßstr.
All interested parties are welcome to come along and get involved. Anyone who would like to share a specific concern in advance can do so by emailing the Citizens' Dialogue team: buerger_innendialog@mail.aachen.de.
