The model shows in miniature how the city works with sensors in the areas of mobility and the environment.

In this way, we can easily explain to you how digital technologies influence urban planning and traffic now and in the future.

The SmartCity demonstrator shows, for example, how smart traffic lights and parking sensors improve traffic and how air quality and temperature can be digitally recorded. Streetlights can also be controlled automatically. This allows visitors to see how new mobility concepts contribute to a sustainable city.
