Monument protection and PV systems

The integration of solar energy into listed buildings poses interesting challenges. However, such projects sometimes come up against bureaucratic hurdles, as in the case of a half-timbered house, where a solar roof is often prohibited. Balcony solar systems in listed buildings are also a major issue. Innovative solutions could make historic buildings more accessible for photovoltaic systems. This would also be in line with the will of the legislator, who has given priority to the expansion of renewables in building law considerations.

Speaker: Susanne Jung (SFV Managing Director)
