We explore life in the Aachen forest

Today is International Day for Biological Diversity. Whether trees, birds, frogs or butterflies - we want to discover some well-known and perhaps also less well-known species in their habitats, learn to understand their way of life, their interaction with other species and their importance for the ecosystem and grasp the basic law: The more species-rich a community is, the more stable it is. This workshop prepares you for your own forest excursions with classes or working groups.

Target group:
Teachers at primary and secondary schools

Management:
Nature educator Ursula Wawra

Registration deadline:
14.05.2025

Registration required.

Nursery school teachers and OGS staff from the City of Aachen should register via their institution with Erik Sauer (Kita) or Malte Mommertz (OGS) in the Department of Children, Youth and Schools.

Participation is free of charge.
