Europe dives in: The fascinating world of water and bathing culture in Aachen and Europe

As part of the Charlemagne Prize, the Stadtbad Aachen, the last public bathing establishment in Bad Aachen - the city of water - is hosting an exhibition on the impressive diversity of water and bathing culture in Aachen and Europe. The Stadtbad will be the setting for an encounter with history, tradition and modernity. In addition to the exhibition, which can also be viewed on May 26/27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can look forward to the lecture "Aachen bathing life - history and stories over the millennia" by Dr. Frank Pohle on May 25 from 4 p.m. as well as the theater performance "Conversations in the Roman baths" - a lively production directed by Prof. Christina Laabs. You can also look forward to music, films and other contributions on the subject of water and bathing culture in Aachen and Europe.
