75 years of the Charlemagne Prize: past and present

Dr. Jürgen Linden, Lord Mayor of the City of Aachen from 1989 to 2009 and Chairman of the Charlemagne Prize Board of Directors since 2010, describes the history of the founding of the Charlemagne Prize and its significance for Aachen, the region and beyond. He takes the audience on a journey through time. Of course, the politically turbulent here and now is not neglected either.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Charlemagne Prize, experience a special event at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen that combines the past and present of this citizens' prize for great Europeans!

Moderator: Prof. Bernd Mathieu
