Europe's energy transition: Accelerated paths to energy democracy and justice

The energy transition in Europe is much more than a technological challenge - it is a profoundly social transformation process that can only succeed if all citizens play an active role in shaping it. Sustainability and energy justice not only mean that no one is left behind or disadvantaged, but also that everyone takes responsibility, regardless of their role in society. This keynote will show ways in which energy democracy can be put into practice in order to shape Europe's future sustainably and fairly together.
