Like many German cities, Aachen is undergoing fundamental change. We need to find answers to the pressing issues of our time in terms of inner-city development, mobility, housing, digitalization, climate, education and social justice. As a city of the future, Aachen is sustainable, resilient, oriented towards the common good and suitable for grandchildren. It is therefore important to discuss the city's major issues and change processes closely and together with the people of Aachen and to communicate decisions and plans transparently for everyone.

The Bürger*innentreff in the OecherLab (Kapuzinergraben 19), as a central contact point in the city center, invites all citizens to an open dialogue with the city administration. During weekly consultation hours, you have the opportunity to talk to employees of the City of Aachen, contribute ideas and comments and ask questions.
