Family Center Richterich in the network
The Richterich Family Center is an association of the municipal daycare facilities at Grünenthaler Straße 90 and Richtericher Straße 120. The aim of the family center in the association is to accompany and support families in their upbringing and educational work, as close to home as possible.
Monthly consultation hours at the Richterich district office
The social area teams of the children, youth and school department advise children, young people and parents on all issues that arise in family life. In particular, they deal with issues relating to the upbringing and development of young people, as well as the prevention of danger and violence. The district social worker for Richterich, Ms. Werny from the social area team V, can be contacted on 0241/432-5173.
Children's and youth center CUBE Richterich
The municipal children's and youth center CUBE in Richterich was opened in 2011 and offers open leisure activities for girls and boys from Richterich and the surrounding area. Take a look inside.

The Richterich volunteer fire department in Grünenthaler Straße also offers young people opportunities to volunteer for the community and ensure fire safety.
Schönauer Friede leisure facility
The skater pool in the leisure center is a popular meeting place. Once a year, the so-called pool party is organized here by dedicated skaters! In 2013, the skater pool was equipped with a lighting system so that it can now also be used in the darker months of the year until 20:00. The leisure facility is complemented by a basketball court and a soccer pitch.
Skateboard ramp on the Wiesenweg playground
There is also a small skateboard ramp in Horbach, on the Wiesenweg playground next to the Catholic kindergarten, for your first attempts!
Kaletzbenden recreation area
There are table tennis tables and a basketball court right next to the sports field on the edge of the local recreation area.
