Carnival

The two carnival clubs "1.KG Richterich 1956 'Koe Jonge" and "KG Horbacher Freunde 1998" are very committed to children and youth work. The clubs adapt to the development of the times. There are two outstanding show dance groups in the district and in 2013 a carnival princess, Manuela I, was crowned for the first time.

St. Hubertus Schützenbruderschaft Richterich 1816

The St. Hubertus Schützenbruderschaft Richterich 1816 enriches the activities in the district every year with its shooting festival.

St. Marien-Gesangverein Aachen-Horbach male choir

The St. Marien-Gesangverein Aachen-Horbach male choir was founded in 1864. The high level of performance of this choir has been recognized by the eleven times it has been awarded the title of Master Choir of the ChorVerband NRW e.V. and has earned Horbach the nickname 'The Village of Singers'. In 2014, the association is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a variety of events.

Richterich Instrumental Society

The Richterich Instrumental Association is a reliable supporter of the clubs and enriches every event in the district. The annual autumn concert and the Christmas concert are particularly noteworthy.
