The highlight of the Aachen-Haaren symphonic wind orchestra's life is the annual concert. The orchestra also regularly offers music lessons on all standard instruments by qualified specialists. The orchestra also has its own school orchestra.

The orchestra currently has 11 active players aged between 17 and 35. The accordion orchestra's repertoire ranges from light light music to musicals and operettas.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm in the bar room of the Haarbachtalhalle. Anyone who would like to play the accordion, drums or bass can simply come along.

The Chorgemeinschaft Haaren e.V. was founded on April 10, 2013 and consists of the members of the former church choir "St. Germanus Haaren 1887".

Around 40 singers currently meet every Wednesday at 8 p.m. for choir practice in the parish hall of the Protestant Christuskirche in Rosengarten. The members see their task as cultivating mainly sacred, but also secular choral music. Its repertoire includes polyphonic masses, motets, chorales etc. from all stylistic periods as well as secular songs in Latin and German. The choir usually sings in the churches of Haaren or Aachen.

The choir enjoys taking part in a wide variety of cultural events in the Haaren district. The visit to the cemetery on the Sunday of the dead is, of course, still a must for the Chorgemeinschaft Haaren e. V. In addition to choral activities, the singers also enjoy social events and trips to neighboring countries in Germany and abroad.

The conductor of the choir community is Ms. Katja Henkes-Rolle, who, as a trained singer and choirmaster, not only leads the choir excellently, but also offers it excellent vocal training. Every friend of choral music is cordially invited to support the Chorgemeinschaft Haaren, either as an active singer or as a passive member.

The Schwarz-Rot trumpet corps celebrated a big anniversary party in 2001, where many Haaren residents and visitors from out of town were able to see the corps' performance for themselves. In particular, the corps works very intensively with young musicians.

The meeting point for rehearsals, which take place on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., is the Haarbachtalhalle in Haaren.
