Curriculum vitae
Born in Cologne in 1960 under the zodiac sign of Pisces, she has been City Treasurer of the City of Aachen since October 2005 and has also been responsible for the areas of law and public order since spring 2006. In 2013, she was appointed general deputy to the Lord Mayor (City Director).
After graduating from the Archbishop's Irmgardis School in Cologne in 1978, she went on to study law at the University of Trier. Her further professional career took her through various stations, starting as a municipal legal advisor with the City of Cologne, to the Federal Ministry of Regional Planning, Building and Urban Development, as a member of the CDU parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia and back into municipal administration via the City of Hagen, finally to Aachen.
