In 2006, the restoration of the Lochner Gate was the first project to be completed. In the same year, it was decided to release further funds for the renovation of the associated coach house.
Herzogstrasse residential building
Private owners are renovating their buildings with great care and commitment. The Frankenberger Viertel is characterized by the extensive preservation of its Gründerzeit buildings. One such residential building in Herzogstraße is being renovated. Inside, numerous paintings, e.g. parquet paintings and stucco work, have been preserved or repaired.
