A total of 481 people took part online and another 688 people voted online. But whether online or analog, the people of Aachen are unanimous: with over 60% of the votes, Jagama - Alex Jagama Shifferaw - emerged as the clear winner of the competition with his design "Forest with Fox". We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the winner!
What happens now?
The artist of the winning design is expected to install his artwork on the façade of the bunker facing Mataréstraße before the summer vacations in 2025. Aachen city council is currently preparing the awarding of the contract and is coordinating the actual implementation with the winner.
