Explanations on planning

The aim of the planning is to develop further commercial space to the west of the existing Eilendorf-Süd commercial area in order to meet the demand for commercial space for service and small-scale businesses. From an urban planning perspective, a continuation of the "car mile" along Neuenhofstrasse makes sense. It is a suitable location for the relocation of car dealerships and their suppliers in Aachen, as the desired concentrated development of car dealerships and associated businesses is possible here. In addition to car dealerships, it should also be possible to locate craft businesses and other commercial enterprises here.
