Explanations on planning

The planning is intended to protect the visual impact of the St. Laurentius church and Gut Kamp estate.

Similar to the urban land-use planning in Aachen's Südviertel district, the development plan to be drawn up is intended to preserve the existing character of the settlement and the existing building structure. In addition, the previously undeveloped rear garden areas of the properties are to be kept free of development. These areas contain ecologically valuable green structures that make up the green character of the core of Laurensberg.
