Process status

The Planning Committee (PLA) has decided to carry out early public participation in accordance with Section 3 (1) of the German Building Code. Consultation date: PLA: 22.09.2022

Early public participation: 21.11.2022 - 2.12.2022 (planning exhibition) and 23.11.2022 (hearing date)

Explanations on planning

A new residential quarter is to be created on the meadow area, which will develop into a lively, attractive part of the city for different target groups in the population. The existing settlement area is to be sustainably rounded off and an attractive residential quarter is to be created that complements the structure of Driescher Hof without standing out as a solitaire. A targeted mix of apartments in multi-family and terraced houses, in the subsidized and privately financed segment, creates space for different types of housing and user groups. The construction of a five-group daycare center (KiTa) in the plan area will strengthen the social infrastructure in the district. Existing pathways will be continued in the plan area and connect the existing neighborhoods with the new residential area.

Note on public interpretation:

In accordance with Section 3 (2) sentence 2, it is pointed out that comments may be submitted during the exhibition period, that comments not submitted in due time may be disregarded in the resolution on the development plan and that an application pursuant to Section 47 of the Administrative Court Code is inadmissible if it asserts objections that were not asserted by the applicant during the exhibition or were asserted late but could have been asserted.
